Nickel Silver Cups and Flask in Leather Carry Case

Description

A beautiful pair of graduated cups and flask in a wonderfully patinated leather carrier. The cups and flask are made by James Dixon and fit together, sliding snugly into the leather carry case. The leather case has a round leather carry handle and is hinged and secured by leather straps. The patina is superb and the top of the case resembles polished brown glass. This is a wonderful tactile piece.
The item dates from the late 19th Century.

Condition -
Cups and flasks are in good clean order, with some rubbing to the plate inside
the cups.
The bayonet top to the flask is in excellent order.
The leather is wonderful, the straps are flexible and in good order.
The patina is stunning, photographs do not do it justice.
