Description

We believe this to be one of a kind. The mirror dates circa 1930s . Then there are possibly 2 Chinese black pen or water colour on silk which have been cut and carefully pasted onto the mirror panels. We believe the water colours to be much earlier than the mirror but can not give a date. The mirror, believed to be mercury does have two patches in it(see photos). The frame is in giltwood style possibly chipboard has been used in parts as there is evidence at the back of the frame where there are patches of paint missing on the edges which exposes the wood..There is a link missing to the chain at the back which will need to be replaced before hanging of the mirror. The whole mirror and frame weighs 7.3if so this would need to be considered as to postage and packaging. We can deliver within reason pending on mileage. This is a great piece bringing two time periods together and each sets the other off tastefully. If you are looking for something different then this is for you.Provenance not known.
