Art Deco Wardrobes

Description

Wonderful French Art Deco Birds Eye Maple Double bed, complete with good quality custom made slatted base (mattress not included). Both the headboard and footboard are a gorgeous blonde colour, the central panels of each having lighter Birds Eye maple veneer with ebony stringing surrounding which accentuates the deeper honey coloured veneer that encompasses the panels. Raised on pretty curved feet, which are sturdy, although they look delicate, the bed sits firmly on them to provide a solid base for your mattress. The bombe shaped footboard has soft curves which allows the light to catch the flecks in the Birds Eye maple at various different angles, and it almost glows. The rails have typical French bolts which are easy to tighten. The whole is presented in wonderful condition having passed through our “in house” workshops where it has been sympathetically French polished and thoroughly checked.
