Condition Report: The spoons have no signs of damage or obvious wear but have the usual light surface scratches that are evident on spoons of this age. The original card box is damaged in the corners and is quite worn, see photos, but in overall good condition for its sixty year age and even has its original tissue paper.

These spoons are unusual and are an exemplary mid century example of Mappin & Webb’s fine craftsmanship. Mappin & Webb are one of the finest silversmiths in the world and as the box states they have a royal warrant from Queen Elizabeth I, so are fit for Royalty. These would be the ideal gift or addition to your silver collection.
