Here we have sale a fabulous vintage Parker Duofold Maxima fountain pen with 14 ct gold nib complete with its seldom seen original box. This is a fine example of Parker’s flagship Duofold Maxima with aerometric filing system introduced in 1958, and is finished in high gloss Navy Blue with gold plated trim and fitted with its original 14 ct gold No 50 nib, the pen comes complete with its seldom seen original box.

Condition report: In excellent condition for age of approximately 60 years with minimum signs of use, all the gold plated trim is in excellent order as is the nib, I tested the aerometric system with a tiny bit of water (I didn't have any ink) and it appears to operate correctly, with only the odd light scratch to the body only noticeable upon close inspection. The original and seldom seen box is in good condition, with age related staining and wear.

These splendid vintage Parker pen would make an excellent Christmas or Birthday present or a treat for yourself over lock-down.
