Here we have for sale a delightful early 20th Century Norwegian 830 standard silver wine cup or beaker by the well regarded firm of silversmiths Thorvald Marthinsen. The body of cup is of lovely simple form devoid of unnecessary decoration and typical of Scandinavian design, the base of the cup has a beautiful Art Nouveau floral repousse decoration.

The makers marks for the silversmith Torvald Marthinsen date the cup between 1900 - 1925.

Condition report: In overall very good condition, there are a couple of very minor dents as well as the usual surface scratches and minor tarnish marks consistent with age.

Exterior diameter : 5.5 cm

Interior diameter: 4.8 cm (approximately)
