Here we have for sale a highly collectible pair of mid 19th century Victorian Scottish ambriotype photographs.

The pictures are on glass of a husband & wife in their original gilt metal frames (lacking leather case).

The original photographer's label on the reverse of the photos for H. Smiths photographic saloon 102 South Bridge Edinburgh,Henry Smith, who was listed as trading as a photographer between 1856 & 1864.

Condition report: In good overall condition, some age related fading and marks and the gentleman's frame is slightly bent in left hand corner, there general age related tarnishing and several minor dints

A highly collectible pair of Victorian ambriotype photographs that would grace any photographic collection.
