Here we have for sale a delightful early twentieth century Edwardian period hallmarked silver vesta case, with lovely hand engraved foliate decoration, loop ring for chain and vacant shield shaped cartouche.

Condition report:

In excellent condition for its age, with minor surface scratches and tarnish marks and the odd tiny dint, the gilt interior is heavily tarnished. Hallmarks are crisp and there is evidence of age related wear. The lid closely smoothly and snaps shut tightly and is perfectly aligned.
