Arthur Vandyk Antiques are delighted to offer for sale a fine quality handmade late 18th century tall and slender George III period silver cream jug.

This elegant Georgian silver cream jug is of plain oval belled body form and has an applied reeded borders, a reeded flat top scroll handle and a period hand engraved monogram to the front.

Condition report:

In overall very good condition for its age of 223 years, free of any latter alterations some very minor small dents plus a visible seam where the handle was originally attached to the body of the jug (not a later repair), age related scratches and tarnish marks, the jug has a good full set of hallmarks.
