Arthur Vandyk Antiques are delighted to present for sale this fine quality hallmarked silver, William IV period Sherry decanter label by the noted bottle ticket/decanter label makers William Hewitt .


This elegant George IV period decanter label has a shaped reeded border and is hand pierced with the title "Sherry" in capital letters, the label has its original good quality chain.

Condition Report:

In overall very good condition with age related light tarnish marks and surface scratches plus minor pitting and a deeper scratch to the front of the label, the chain is in reasonable order however one of the links is slightly bent, the hallmarks are crisp.
