Arthur Vandyk Antiques are delighted to offer sale this stunning set of six George V period hallmarked sterling silver demitasse coffee spoons.

The design of the spoons is an Art Deco stylised adaption of the Dog Nose pattern spoon, the original of which dates to the reign of William III (1650-1702).


This early twentieth century set of solid silver spoons would make a superb gift or a beautiful asset for your own silver collection and would look elegant on display.

Condition report:

Spoons

The spoons are in overall very good condition for their age of over 89 years. The spoons have light age related wear, light surface scratches and tarnish marks, and some minor tarnish spots.


Box

The period box that comes with the spoons is in fair condition with strong clasp and hinges, some heavy wear particularly to the leatherette exterior.
