Arthur Vandyk Antiques are delighted to present for sale this ornate and delicate early 20th Century hallmarked sterling silver pill/patch box with compact mirror & loop ring to fit on a chatelaine chain.

This highly collectible and superb quality hand engraved vesta case with an intricate scroll foliate leaf decoration covering both sides, the hinged lid with a vacant cartouche, so can be personalised.

Condition report:

In overall very good condition for its age of 125 years, with some minor age related dents, scratches and tarnish marks, the lid has an excellent hinge and closes firmly, the interior mirror is intact but has some signs of aging.
