The crocus pattern was one of Clarice Cliff’s signature designs and is featured in London's Victoria & Albert Museum collection.

Designer: Clarice Cliff

Pattern: Crocus (Autumn)

Manufacturer: Royal Staffordshire with green stamp and gold stamp to the reverse of the plate.

Date of manufacture: The pattern was introduced in 1928, this plate has a post war mark to the base.

Decoration: Hand painted on glaze.

Dimensions:

Diameter: 16.5 cm
Condition Report:

This plate is in 'as found' condition with a firing fault on the base, revealing a light brown mark, as well as major crazing to both sides of the plate and a deep line on the back of the plate. The price reflects the condition of this plate. However, there are no chips to the ware.
