Description
A fine example of an Arts and Craft hand made box by the highly acclaimed artist John Pearson.1885-1910. This master craftsman was at the Newlyn School and a member of the Guild of HandicraftsThe casket has a working hasp latch fastening,the interior is cloth covered wood. Clearly signed with his J P initial and dated 1898, with an exposed hinged.
