THE CONDITION IS VERY GOOD JUST ONE VERY SLIGHT LIGHT FOXING SPOT TO SKY AREA UPPER LEFT AREA THIS WILL CLEAN OUT EASILY

THE FRAMED SIZE IS APPROX 21 1/2 INCHES X 17 1/2 INCHES WIDE

Was Born in Bristol though Later moved to the Lake District area and was a founder member of the Lake Artists' Society in 1904. He Exhibited at the Royal Academy between 1887 and 1902 and annually from 1904 to 1919. The Shambles is a bustling centre piece of the historic City of York england . The shambles today is one of the UK's most visited streets being well packed with tourists from all over the world ..


The street dates to the fifteenth century the buildings lean into the middle of the cobbled street the roofs seem to almost touch in the middle. the shables is Mentioned in the Domesday book (making it date over 900 years),the Shambles is the oldest street in York being one of europes best preserved Medieval streets at the time the watercolour was painted the shambles was lined with row upon row of butchers shops these butchers shop windows can be seen in this watercolour paintings by arthur tucker
