Antique 19thc Metal Bound Trunk Solid Oak Travel Chest Probably Orginaly Used For Military Travel For Storing / Holding Silver Household Items Or Used Whilst Serving In The Army on Campaigns or Travel Abroard, The Trunk / Chest Has Iron Bound Handles To Either Side Of The Trunk /Chest .The Metal Banded Bound Travel Chest / Trunk Is Made From Solid English Oak Which Is Bound In Metal The Trunk Is Minus Its Interior Brass Lock.
Over The Years The Metal Bands of the trunk Have Been Painted Green .
The Condition Is Good for Its Age The Trunk Still Very Strong .
