Cranberry Glass Trumpet Flute Vase English circa victorian edwardian in date.
This Lovely Cranberry trumpet jack in the pulpit vase Is approx 11 inches high the Cranberry vase has applied crimped clear folded glass handles with a folded pulpit fold over ruffle crimped edged shape to the top of the cranberry vase,the vase having a lovely tappered slender shape and has a clear glass foot to the base,with a unpolished pontil.
Cranberry Glass was first produced in Bohemia in the early 18th Century,originaly known as ruby glass once into the latter half of the victorian era cranberry glass became extemily populer circa 1870s onwards,some of the best cranberry glass was made by English glass makers from the famouse glass making areas of the uk such as stourbridge made by such glassmakers as thomas Webb,,Stuart,richardsons etc.
