Oriental Carved Camphor Wood Chest Vintage Dome Topped Trunk Chest dates to The 1930s 1940s Art Deco Period,The Chest is Profusely Deeply Carved Even The Sides and Back of The Chest Are Carved With Figures,Boats,Horse`s,Chinese Scenes People,The Central Section Of The Carved Camphor Wood Lid Of The Chest Trunk Is Domed, The Top Of Chests Lid Has two Carved Flat Ends To The Top Of The Lift Up Lid Which Make Ideal End Seats.The Chest Has a Worked Brass Hasp.
The Chest Has a Typical 1930s 1940s Has Orental Art Deco Styled Influence, The Carved Feet OF The Chest Being Typical Of 30s 40s styling .The Chest Has a Rich Colour To The Camphor Wood.This Chest Was Owned by One Family For Many Years After The Son Brought it Home From Sea for His Parents.
