Description

Very good antique country oak joint stool with turned legs and pegged joints the oak has a good colour
Ideal as a stool or for use as small wine table or end table
The stool has carved names and a date for 1949 carved along the side and end rails but the stool is older than the date carved
We think stool must have been second hand when used as a wedding or anniversary present in 1949
Possibly due to new items of furniture being very difficult to buy new during the 1940s utility era .
