Alfred Cox iconic vintage 1950s hand crafted dressing table made designed circa mid 1950s.

The dressing table is a lovely example of mid century modern design made in honey coloured satin walnut veneers the dressing table has lots of very useful vanity,clothes storage space with 3 in line top drawers and a large concealed curved shaped full length bottom drawer all the drawers have dovetail joints.
The design is very iconic of the mid 1950s period with its use of clean classic understated lines and tall flare shaped angled solid wood legs and cone shaped drawer handles and a adjustable shield shaped central mirror.
Alfred cox furniture was cabinet made by craftsmen and was sold through high quality UK department stores such as Heals Harrods and other leading furniture retailers throughout the 1950s 1960s.
At the moment there is also a matching wardrobe to the dressing table available.
