Description

A Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin French stained elm and oak champagne riddling rack, late 19th century. 'A frame' construction, each side with vertical planks containing 60 apertures for bottles, stamped 'VCP' to one side, 147cm high, 72cm wide. This piece of furniture will make an ideal storage / display rack for Champagne and it also has a wide range of other possible design application - see images
It is beautifully constructed and will complement and enhance any tasteful interior, be it rustic or urban contemporary. This particular model was invented by the VCP producer - the "riddling" procedure being essential to the production process of quality champagne.
