Antique Bean Slicer By Spong's. A leading British Manufacturer of Kitchen Utensils in the 19th century.This fine example still retains the original brown patination & gilding highlighting the writing. The slicer has a screw mechanism to allow it to be fixed to a table top so that the beans can be fed into the 3 bladed cutter which is activated by the handle.
