Vintage Novelty Money Box / BookThis money box comes in the form of a book with green outer cover embossed with the Coat of Arms for the Trustee Saving Bank Security, Wigan Savings Bank.
There is a slot for coins & a circular hole for notes.
The money box still retains coinage.
There is no key available for the money box because only the bank had the key. A good way to ensure savings reached the bank. The box has a patent number & was manufactured by Pearson Page.
Condition is very good.Slight mark to gilding.
