1960's Kitsch Esparto Grass Donkey.
These Folk Art animals were brought back to the UK from Spain by the 1960's tourists. The donkey has twin panniers holding terracotta Amphorae. These items were hand made by Spanish artisans long before the days of mass productio. They would have been quite a sophisticated present in the days before mass overseas holidays.
Condition, very good for age, chip from rim of one terracota Amphorae.
