Description
Highly decorative pair of ships clock & holosteric barometer by the renowned firm of D McGregor & CO of Greenock & Glasgow suppliers to the Royal Navy.Each instrument is decorated with a bronze eagle & acanthus leaves.
Previous owners claimed they came from a private yatch.
We are selling them as decorative objects & cannot confirm whether they are in working order.
D McGregor was in production from 1848 until 1900.
There are slight marks to the clock face by the number 8 & on the fast slow gauge.
