Description
19thc Coromandel writing slope, inlaid to front and top with abalone and mother of pearl and brass stringing. Lid lifts to reveal a velvet interior with various compartments. There is a hidden compartment within. It also has a makers plaque, Pearce Maker, 77 Cornhill London.In good condition, there is a hairline crack in the top.
Approx. 15" wide x 10" deep x 6" high.
