A fine pair of 19thc Royal Copenhagen Parian roundels depicting Night and Day, after Bertel Thorvaldsen in Black Forest carved frames. Both have the blue lines verso and are stamped Eneret V.P for S V Peterson 1872-77.DateAesthetic Period :
Late 19thc
DimensionsApprox. overall size 16.75" high x 13" wide. Sight size 10" diameter.
ConditionThe Parian roundels are in great condition, the frames have old repairs and some minor losses.
