Outstanding quality, a pair of Victorian Tortoiseshell and Solid Gold applied Opera Glasses made by the Opticians by Appointment to Queen Victoria. W Dixey of Bond Street London. These have been commissioned for someone affluent at sometime with solid gold applied letter A to each barrels. Comes with original leather case with purple silk interior. Marked "Opticians to the Queen Bond Street London" on each eye piece.In Mint Condition with no damage whatsoever.
