Description

This is a stylish set of Early 20th Century Ebony Glove Stretchers. The stretchers have rounded ends to the tips and handles to make sure they don't damage your gloves and use a classic scissor action.

The glove stretchers are stamped REAL EBONY on one handle and date to around 1900 to 1920. There is no indication of a maker.

Ebony items were very popular in the late 19th and early 20th century but since the fifties Ebony has become much scarcer and other materials have taken over.

Condition is very good with just the minimal wear that you would expect with use and the passage of time. Please make sure to view all the photographs.

The glove stretchers are 22.5cm / 8.8ins long and 4.3cm / 1.7ins across the handles. They weigh 48.1g / 1.7oz.
