Description

This is an elegant Pair of Early 20th Century Silver Plate Decanter Labels. The labels have reeded edges with four shell motifs. One is engraved for SWEET SHERRY and the other for DRY SHERRY.

The decanter labels were made in England and date to around 1900 to 1920. There is no makers' mark so we are unable to say who they were manufactured by but they are stamped SILVER PLATED and ENGLAND on the back.

Condition is very good, with no dings or dents, no damage to the chains and just the minimal superficial surface wear that you would anticipate with use and the passage of time. Please make sure to view all the photographs.

Each label is 6.2cm / 2.4ins across and 11.4cm / 4.5ins from the top of the chain to the bottom rim of the label. The pair together weighs 24.9g / 0.88oz.
