Very scarce saxony sidearm that was only made for one year 1880/1881 ,in very good condition with original scabbard ,Brass pommel, ribbed bakerlte grips seared with three brass insets,, steel collar and cross guard ,steel single fuller blade , Elmo style blade marked on the Ricaso with maker Gebr Weversberg Sollingen , stamped on spine of blade imperial stamp and crown A over 80 Length 776 mm and blade 632 mm, both side arm and scabbard are regimentally stamped 28 AE 1 26
