Description
Antique Victorian Mahogany Salon Armchair and dating from around 1890. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a deep shaped top rail with incised carving above a deep upholstered back rest and with upholstered armrests on turned spindle supports and beautifully shaped and carved front supports. It has a deep stuff over seat and stands on turned reeded legs on castors. It was recovered some time ago in a quality fabric totally in keeping with the period.Measures 40" high x seat height 16" x 32" deep x 27" wide
In very good condition being sound and solid and very comfy to sit in with a lovely deep colour and patination to the quality mahogany oozing all the charm and character of the period.
