Lovely Antique Early Victorian Carved Oak Wainscot Chair and dating from aorund 1840. It has a carved top rail above two carved fielded panels to the high backrest and with downswept armrests with fielded panelled side supports. It has a lovely plank seat with super grain and patina and it stand son turned and block legs joined by a turned stretcher.Measures 52" high x seat height 18" x 24" deep x 24" wide
In very good condition being sound and solid and very comfy to sit in with a lovely deep colour and patination to the oak oozing all the charm and character of the period.
