Description
Antique Georgian Country Oak Stool and dating from around 1780. We feel that this was originally a small table and has been converted with a victorian stuff over seat pad which makes for a lovely stool. The seat is supported on four turned and blocked legs joined by a carved frieze to the top and squared stretchers to the base. It is hand and peg joined.Measures 26" high x 12.5" x 14"
In very good condition being sound and solid and very comfy to sit in with a lovely deep colour and patination to the oak oozing all the charm and character of the country period.
