Description

Antique Early 19th Century Mahogany Gents Low Press, Wardrobe Compactum and dating from around 1840. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a cornice top with cross banded frieze above two flamed mahogany panelled doors with three internal sliding tray drawers all of which are oak lined. To each side there is a flight of four graduating drawers all of which are oak lined with original mahogany turned knob handles. It sits on a deep plinth base and separates for ease of transporting.

Measures 48" high x 24" deep x ( internal depth centre 20") x 84" wide

A Superb and rare Antique early 19th Century Mahogany Gents Compactum and in very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
