Description
Antique 17th Century Small Oak Box and dating from around the time of the Restoration Period of James 11 c1680. It has two panels to the top with original iron loop hinges and two panels to the front with an Elm lock plate and with panelled sides and original panelled back standing on stile feet. It is hand & peg joined.Measures 19" high x 16" deep x 31" wide
In very good condition with a lovely deep waxed patination, colour and grain to the oak and oozing all the charm and character of the period.
