Description

Antique 18th Century Carved Oak coffer and dating from around the time of George 11 c1740. It has two panels to the top above a carved frieze and two interlocking carved panels to the front with panelled sides and original panelled back. To the base is a beautiful carved and shaped skirt and it stands on original stile feet. It has iron hinges to the top and internally there is the original candle box. It is hand and peg jointed.

Measures 25" high x 21" deep x 48" wide

In very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
