Description

Antique Regency Mahogany Drop Leaf Sofa Table and dating from around 1820. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a reeded edge to the top with a drop leaf on either side which raises on a hinged support. There are two drawers to the front both of which are oak lined and with original brass handles and finely strung with ebony. To the back of the table there are two false drawers mirroring the front. It stands on a turned central support on four shaped and reeded legs with a brass paw foot on castors.

Measures 28" high x 28" deep x 37" wide (closed) x 56" (open)

In very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
