Description

Antique Regency Mahogany Bureau Bookcase and dating from around 1820. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a cornice top with dental moulding and a serpentine shaped frieze above two astragal glazed doors with brass escutcheon and two internal shelves.
The bureau has a brass escutcheon to the fall front which opens to reveal a central door with four pigeon holes to either side, below there is a row of five small drawers. To the base are four long graduating drawers all of which are oak lined with brass handles and escutcheons. It is moulded to the base and stands on bracket feet. The top lifts off the base for ease of transport.

Measures 80" high x 21" deep x 19" internal depth top x 37" wide

In very good condition oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
