Description

Antique Georgian Oak Tack Cupboard/Wardrobe and dating from the time of George 111 c1780.
Constructed from quality oak it has a flared cornice top above two moulded panelled doors with brass lock escutcheon and small knob handles. Below the doors is a row of four moulded panels. Internally there is a shelf with a full length hanging rail. To the base there are two drawers both of which are oak lined with brass lock escutcheons and brass handles. It stands on a plinth base and separates for ease of transporting. The cupboard is peg joined throughout and has panelled sides.

Measures 84" high x 22" deep x internal depth 18.5" x 52" wide

In very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
