Description

Antique Pair Victorian Carved Green Man Gothic Oak Wardrobes and dating from around 1890. Constructed from solid oak and being a matching pair of both Ladies and Gents wardrobes. Each wardrobe having a carved cornice top above two full length panelled doors with carved lozenge panels to the top above four large carved ' Green Man ' panels. Internally the Ladies wardrobe has a shelf above a hanging rail and the agents has a brass hanging rail. They stand on stile feet joined by a shaped and carved frieze. They have panelled sides.
Each wardrobe measures
Gents 75.5" high x 22" deep x 57" wide and internal depth 18.5"
Ladies 75.5" high x 22" deep x 48" wide and internal depth 18.5"


In very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
