Description

Antique Victorian Oak Roll Top Desk and dating from around c1890. Constructed from quality oak it has a tambor top in very good working condition and with brass escutcheon and working key. Internally it has assorted pigeon holes, letter racks and pen tray with two drawers each of which is oak lined with original moulded oak handles. It has a moulded edge to the desk top and each pedastal has a sliding book rest above three graduating drawers all of which are oak lined and with original oak moulded handles. The bottom drawer being a double depth drawer and with some of the drawers having original dividers. It has a panelled kneehole with shaped frieze and with panelled sides. The top separates for ease of transporting.

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the oak oozing all the charm and character of the period.
