Description

Antique Early George 11 Country Oak Press or Cupboard and dating from around 1760. It has a slim cornice top above two doors each having two fielded panels and brass escutcheons with working key. A hanging rail could easily be fitted for hanging space.To the base there are two doors each with a single fielded panel and brass escutcheons and working key. It has panelled sides and stands on stile feet. It has butterfly ironwork hinges and is hand and peg joined. It is in one piece and does not come apart for transporting.
Would make fabulous wardrobe or hall cupboard for coats & boots!

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the oak oozing all the charm and character of the period.
