Description

Antique Victorian Mahogany Triple Wardrobe Compactum and dating from around 1860. It has a cornice top with with rounded column edges to all sides and above a cross banded frieze. To the centre there is a shaped full length mirrored door with original gilt brass handle and to either side there is a shaped panelled door with original gilt brass handles. Internally to the centre there are four sliding mahogany trays (which could be removed for further hanging space) above three long graduating drawers all of which are mahogany lined with brass handles. To either side there is full length hanging space and has the added feature of a sliding frame with brass rail and original hooks which slides out (see photos). There is a shoe drawer to the base of one side which is also mahogany lined with brass handles. It stands on a deep plinth base and dismantles for ease of transporting.
