Offered for sale is this superb large Victorian oak telescopic dining table extending from 56" x 48" to 112.5" x 48" with three leaves, a comfortable 12 seater. The large rectangular oak table has canted corners with a double edged moulding above spiral turned supports with original brass castors . It has the standard Joseph Fitter extending mechanism and works both robustly and smoothly and comes with winding handle. The table dates to about 1880 and has been cleaned and sympathetically repolished whilst retaining its original character. It is in excellent showroom condition.
