Offered for sale is this superb quality large oval mahogany Chippendale style extending dining table measuring 60" x 48" extending to 142" x 48" with four leaves and dating to about 1920. The oval extending dining table has a moulded edge above a skirt on cabriole supports with ball and claw feet and brass castors. The table will seat 12 - 14. The table is in excellent showroom condition having been sympathetically repolished and the extending mechanism works very smoothly. The table is a rich mellow brown colour and has a makers plate on it " P E Gane ". This company were cabinet makers who produced high quality furniture in Cardiff.
