Description

An early Victorian drum shaped mustard pot and hinged cover.The whole engraved with scroll work,flowers and foliage.Good scrolled handle,thumb piece in form of Maltese cross.Glass liner.
London 1848 by Henry Holland.
144 grms silver weight.
6.5 cms diam.,6.5 cms high(to thumb piece)
Slight tear in silver(6mm) on cover at spoon aperture.Please see photo.
Some evidence of old repair on underside of base.See photo.
Liner with edge chip.
No dents,no dints.
A very pretty and useful piece of silver.
