Pair of very good George 111 Sheraton period mahogany open armchairs.Cane seats, cane back panels.Carved decoration to top rails.Down swept arms,turned and reeded front legs.Horse hair seat squabs ready to be covered.
Width at arms 22.5"(58 cms),height to back 34"(87cms),height from floor to seat rail(excl.sqabs) 16.5"(42 cms).
In very nice general condition with good finish and colour.A few old(probably 19th cent.) repairs including a partial seat rail replacement to one chair.No joint movement at all.
Covering of the horsehair seat squabs can be carried out in a fabric/leather of your choice prior to delivery.
