Description

A set of six(including two arms) George 111 mahogany dining chairs in the Hepplewhite manner.Sheild backs carved with wheatsheves and foliage,carved fan motifs below.Chanelled and outswept front legs.The dipped and bow front seats all upholstered and covered in antique tapestry which is in excellent order.
Circa 1785
Measurements Arms 22.5"(57cms) wide accross arms,21.5"(54.5 cms) deep.
Single chairs 19"(48cms) wide at seats.
All approx.17.5 "(44.5 cms) from floor to seat top.
All 36.5"(93 cms) high at the backs.

Virtually no joint movement at all.Some old repairs and re glueings only visible upon close inspection.
