Description
A nineteenth century harness maker's lignum vitae collar mallet.Original beechwood handle.Mallet head measures 6" x 4".Length including handle 11.5".
Weight 1938 grms
These mallets were used to hard fill the leather collars of draught horses.
Condition is good for age and use with some knocks to be expected(see photos) but no cracks.
You may return a purchase within 14 days for a refund if you are not happy with it,but you will have to pay the full cost of return postage/carriage.The item must be returned undamaged.
